Music Applicants – Important Information
All applicants will be required to complete the Music Audition Intent form located inside their SpartanStart portal. Applicants will receive access to this portal once they have successfully submitted an admissions application. Applicants to the music technology program are not required to audition but must still submit a Music Audition Intent form for tracking purposes.
Before auditioning for a music program or music scholarship, prospective students should review the audition information and requirements for their program and instrument.
Applicants may audition in person at one of UT's official Admissions open house events.
Applicants may also audition remotely via Zoom, at times that coordinate with both prospective students and faculty. To register for a Zoom audition, please complete the Music Audition Intent form inside your SpartanStart portal and specify a list of your available dates and times.

Music Scholarships
Prospective music students may be eligible for a music scholarship, based on departmental need and the quality of the student's audition.
Currently Enrolled UT Students
Currently enrolled UT students who are auditioning for a music major or minor, or adding a music technology major, should fill out fill out our Music Interest Form.
Future Spartans
If you are interested in studying music at UT, but are not a current applicant (9th-11th grade students), please fill out our Music Interest Form.
